About Short Road Home

Short Road Home is an Athens, Georgia-based Celtic music ensemble inspired by the music of Ireland, Scotland, Canada and Appalachia. Our "traditional yet accessible" music includes ballads, jigs, hornpipes, polkas, reels, waltzes, and the odd mazurka or two.

The members of Short Road Home have been playing together for several years, and our current lineup was established in Spring, 2005. In the past few months, we have performed at the Atlanta Celtic Festival, AthFest, Border's Bookstore, corporate events, and numerous private parties.
